The Very Inspiring Blogger Award- Acceptance

index-very-inspiring-blogger-award

A big thank you to Kate M. Colby for nominating me for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award! Kate is one of my inspirations, from spear-heading the 2K International Blog Tour to her amazing writing tips and resources. Please visit her site and give her some love!

The Award Guidelines:

  1. Thank the person who nominated you and add a link to their blog.
  2. Display the award in a blog entry.
  3. List the award guidelines so your nominees will know what to do.
  4. State 7 things about yourself.
  5. Nominate 15 other bloggers for the award.

Though I do not have 15 other bloggers to nominate I would still like to share some random facts about myself.

Seven Facts about Amanda

1. I have an irrational fear of jellyfish. I have never seen one that wasn’t behind glass and I hope to keep it that way.

2. I unplug everything before I leave my apartment because I am completely convinced it will burn down if I don’t.

3. My favourite band of all time is The Tea Party.

4.  I lived in England for nearly 3 years. I’ve been home for 5 years and I still call the garbage the bin.

5. Sometimes, when I wear my white hoodie, I pull the hood up and pretend I am an Assassin.

6. If I start a movie or television show I have to finish it before I can do anything else.

7. Before I developed an allergy to metal I had multiple piercings.

Thank you again to Kate M. Colby! I really appreciate the nomination.

We will be entering the last week of the 2K International Blog Tour- what a great time it’s been show casing all these fabulous bloggers and authors! Next author spotlight on Monday!

  1. Thanks for accepting! I loved learning a little more about you! For the record, I don’t feel your fear of jellyfish is irrational at all. If you get tangled up in those things they can seriously hurt you, sometimes kill you. Not irrational at all.

    • Thanks again for Nominating me! I really love these and getting to learn about different bloggers- and having an excuse to talk about myself.
It’s only irrational because I have never been in the ocean, or anywhere where I would encounter a jellyfish. It just started up one day when my brain decided I was going to be afraid of them for no real reason. I mean I guess you don’t have to have a run-in with a shark to know that its probably a good thing to be afraid of them, haha. I think it’s because jelly-fish don’t have a brain- that’s pretty creepy.
