A big thank you to Kate M. Colby for nominating me for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award! Kate is one of my inspirations, from spear-heading the 2K International Blog Tour to her amazing writing tips and resources. Please visit her site and give her some love!
The Award Guidelines:
- Thank the person who nominated you and add a link to their blog.
- Display the award in a blog entry.
- List the award guidelines so your nominees will know what to do.
- State 7 things about yourself.
- Nominate 15 other bloggers for the award.
Though I do not have 15 other bloggers to nominate I would still like to share some random facts about myself.
Seven Facts about Amanda
1. I have an irrational fear of jellyfish. I have never seen one that wasn’t behind glass and I hope to keep it that way.
2. I unplug everything before I leave my apartment because I am completely convinced it will burn down if I don’t.
3. My favourite band of all time is The Tea Party.
4. I lived in England for nearly 3 years. I’ve been home for 5 years and I still call the garbage the bin.
5. Sometimes, when I wear my white hoodie, I pull the hood up and pretend I am an Assassin.
6. If I start a movie or television show I have to finish it before I can do anything else.
7. Before I developed an allergy to metal I had multiple piercings.
Thank you again to Kate M. Colby! I really appreciate the nomination.
We will be entering the last week of the 2K International Blog Tour- what a great time it’s been show casing all these fabulous bloggers and authors! Next author spotlight on Monday!
Thanks for accepting! I loved learning a little more about you! For the record, I don’t feel your fear of jellyfish is irrational at all. If you get tangled up in those things they can seriously hurt you, sometimes kill you. Not irrational at all.

Thanks again for Nominating me! I really love these and getting to learn about different bloggers- and having an excuse to talk about myself.
It’s only irrational because I have never been in the ocean, or anywhere where I would encounter a jellyfish. It just started up one day when my brain decided I was going to be afraid of them for no real reason. I mean I guess you don’t have to have a run-in with a shark to know that its probably a good thing to be afraid of them, haha. I think it’s because jelly-fish don’t have a brain- that’s pretty creepy.
